I have another card to show, and this time I have used a sketch in order to participate in Stampin Royality Challenge 56. I hope it’s ok that I turned the square.

I love butterflies, so I’m happy about how the card turned out.
I’m adding this card to Crafty Creations Challenges - Let's heat it up, since my card has warm colors and I also heat embossed all of the butterflies.

Friends are the flowers in the Garden of Life

Hey, I’m back! I’ve had some time off from school the past 2 days and I’ve outdone myself with creativity. So now I have a few cards to show off. I feel such a development with my card making, the first cards I made are so different from the ones I make now (and I’m thankful for that).

I decided to play along in the Paper Players Challenge this week, which is a sketch.
I’m also participating in Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge – FTTC102, where you’re to add some kind of hardware to your card/project. I really like my metal flower!

Merry Christmas

I’m sorry I’ve been absent this December, but I’ve prioritated to bake Christmas cookies for my family over card making. I hope I have time to make a strong return next year. I’ve left all my equipment at my apartment, and right now I’m with my family enjoying the 22 types of cookies and taking in the season. It’s a white Christmas in Norway this year, and the scene is beautiful.

I wanna wish a merry Christmas and a happy New Year to those who happens to stop by!
See you next year!

Love Kaia!

Christmas in blue and white

I’ve made 2 cards today. This first one is about as simple as I get. I’ve wanted to try using this cuttlebug folder, so now I did. I realize now that my bow didn’t photograph well – I should have taken a picture of it from the front, but then the embossed picture didn’t show. So bear with it.

Front:
front Stamps: The only stamp I used here is HCPC 3345 Snowflake Medley PreCut Set from Heartfelt Creations. I had to add some heat embossing, so I stamped the sentiment with Tim Holtz Distress Embossing Ink Pad and added Bridal Embossing Powder before heating it up.

Dies:  The snowflake was made from
Spellbinders Snowflake Wonder Shapeabilities and the small flowers from Spellbinders Lotus Borderabilities Petite. The flowers have gotten a dot of Tim Holtz Liquid Pearls Silver in their centres.

Embossing folders:
Cuttlebug Winter House

Embellishments: Ribbon, brads.
